Rules

1^st Stage

In the world of Aden it is really easy to make a name for yourself:

• meet Diana in Talking Island and complete the quest “Diana’s Request”;
• make a photo of yourself on a given topic and write a short self-introduction story;
• submit your application to the site till 6th of October.

The in-game quest will be available from 8th of September. You can complete the quest after submitting your photo, but do not forget to indicate in your submission the nickname of the correct character. To complete the quest find Diana in Talking Island. Do not delete or throw away quest item “Diana’s Recommendation” until the first stage ends.

The topic of your photo should be “You are the best tattoo artist”. You will have to invent and depict a new dye that improves your characteristics. It does not mean that you must make a real tattoo or paint it on your body - it can be located at any part of your clothes or accessories.

Your photo should also include a Lineage 2 logo. Important: the logo should be an element of reality and it cannot be added by means of a graphic editor or in post-production. The size of your photo should be not less than 1000х1500 px. Photo may be post-processed, but only graphic characteristics may be changed (sharpness, contrast, color balance); adding any elements drawn by hand or other items are not allowed.

The length of your introduction should be between 500 and 1000 characters including spaces.

Criteria for photos evaluation:

• Abidance by requirements (read the rules for more information)
• Ingenuity of the idea
• Photo should be on topic “You are the best tattoo artist”;
• Picture quality: definition and clearness of the photo
• High level of artistic and esthetic performance

Vote for the best contestants from 9th till 14th of Ocrober!

2^nd Stage

2nd Stage starts on 16th of October and only 15 male and 15 female contestants will be admitted to it based on the results of the voting. In this stage contestants will need to create a one-minute video on topic “Express the inexpressible: emotion that you miss in Lineage 2”. The video should not contain human speech except for song lyrics.

Deadline for submitting videos is 2nd of November; deadline for voting is 8th of November.

There will be 3 winners of each gender, selected through voting.

Criteria for videos evaluation:

• The plot structure
• Picture composition
• Quality of filming: accuracy and smoothness of camera movement
• Ingenuity of the idea
• Formatting: sound accompaniment and digital video effects
• Abidance by technical requirements (read the rules for more information)
• Main title and information about the authors will be considered as a bonus (additional frames are not included in the one-minute requirement)

Contest Evaluation

Participants will be rated by users and Lineage 2 Team.

Each user has 1 vote to give to the selected participants (1 vote for a male participant and 1 vote for a female participant), each team member has 200 votes to spread among the participants.

Therefore, both popular and talented participants have a chance to make it to the final stage!
